He was born March 25, 1937, in Hotchkiss, Colorado, son of the late James E. White and Catherine Hodges White. Mr. White was a US Navy veteran of 22 years of service, and served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith Ann White; son, Brian White; stepdaughter, April White; half-sisters, Willa Mae Shriver, and Joyce Franks; and several nieces and nephews. He was born December 31, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Richard Gale and Naomi Hoffman Evans. Dick grew up in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood in Cincinnati and graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1951. Dick attended Kenyon College in Gambier, OH where he joined the Air Force ROTC and Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He also played football and was an accomplished midfielder on the lacrosse team. Will Theus Quaile, 92, died at her home at Isle of Hope on the 20th of September 2022.

He lived the majority of his youth in Wilmington Delaware and was a member of the Boy Scouts of America.
Martha Littlefield Summerell died June 5, 2022, at Hospice Savannah, shortly before her 92nd birthday. She was born in Savannah, Georgia, the second daughter of Orrin Francis Littlefield and Frances Smith Littlefield. She grew up in Gordonston during the height of the Great Depression. After graduation from Savannah High School in 1947, she attended Armstrong College for a year before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
